Our Health and Safety Excellence program has launched

Celebrating our commitment to mental health and wellness

The WSIB has been awarded gold certification in Mental Health at Work, and the Order of Excellence Certification inHealthy Workplace by Excellence Canada. These milestones recognize our strategic focus on mental health, our programs and practices that contribute to positive mental health in our workplace, and our commitment to improving and sustaining exemplary workplace health and wellness programs.

On November 5, our Chair, Elizabeth Witmer, was joined by members of our senior leadership team and Mental Health and Wellness team at the annual Performance Excellence Summit and Canada Awards for Excellence to celebrate these achievements.

The WSIB receives international award

We recently received international recognition for our innovative and collaborative approach to helping people return to work after a workplace injury or illness from the International Social Security Association (ISSA) Recognition Programme.

Dr. Joachim Breuer, President of ISSA presented Brian Jarvis, Chief Operating Officer and Evie DoCouto, Vice President, Return to Work, with a Certificate of Excellence for Return to Work and Reintegration in October.

Have you checked out our new online services?

We have recently made changes to the way businesses log in to our online services so that we can support you better – especially during busier periods. Make sure your account information is linked with your new user ID by following the steps outlined in our online services login FAQs.

Don’t have an online services account? Sign up and log in today.

Clearances have a new look

We have changed the way clearances look. Now, only the contractor’s name will appear on the clearance certificate and only one clearance number will be created for all contracts.

One clearance number, same compliance criteria, same confidence in your WSIB coverage. See our clearances FAQs

Our document upload service is mobile-friendly

Now people can upload images of some of their claim-related documents from their smartphone straight to their claim files. Once the document is uploaded, it’s added to the claim file within minutes.

This is one of the many ways we are able to provide the help you need sooner.  Upload your documents
