Minister of Labour Assumes Responsibility for Training and Skills Development
Good Morning Directors & Coos,
This morning Premier Ford announced changes to the responsibilities of three of his cabinet ministers. The responsibility for Training and Skills Development has been moved from the ministry formerly called the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, now the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, the the Ministry of Labour, now called the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development. It was known that Minister of Labour, Monte McNaughton, had an interest in adding these responsibilities to his portfolio. What was not known was how for he had advanced his interest with the Premier.
This is good news for the construction as Minister McNaughton has many close ties with our industry.
