The Federal Government Approves Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion

Yesterday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the approval of the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion, an addition to the existing pipeline that carries crude and refined oil from Alberta through to British Columbia. This expansion is expected to double the current capacity of resources being transported daily, generating millions more dollars per day.
The Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion is an infrastructure project that will increase the reach of oil companies to Canada‘s west coast, allowing Canada to build new partnerships in the global market and sell products at a competitive price. Additionally, the construction of this pipeline will foster a substantial contribution to the Canadian economy, generating employment nationwide, as well as supporting the companies that supply the project, including the steel construction industry.
The CISC recognizes the importance of safe, sufficient and economical access to world markets. We support the Canadian governments decision to move forward with this project as it strengthens the investments in our economy, the Canadian middle class, and the viability of oil, gas and mining developments.

Ceci est un ajout au pipeline existant qui achemine du pétrole brut et raffiné de l‘Alberta à la Colombie-Britannique.
