The Construction Contracting Business Fundamentals Academy (Level 1)

The program focuses on the skills needed to start a contracting business or strengthen an existing business. Participants learn how to develop a business plan, prepare an operations plan, establish financing, set up an accounting system, understand the benefits of becoming certified as a small business, find work, collect money from customers, identify insurance requirements, understand contract terms and conditions and avoid problems that will compromise business success. The program provides the business foundation that will strengthen a contractor’s ability to be profitable during the early startup of their company and to become firmly established as a successful contractor.

In July, IMPACT launched its new Construction Contracting Business Fundamentals Academy (Level 1) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The program was a tremendous success. As a result, IMPACT will be hosting the program several times around the U.S. and Canada in 2016.
