Entry Level Training
We received an update from Cordelia Clarke-Julien at the Provincial meeting yesterday on Mandatory Entry Level Training for Construction as follows:
- A working group is now being convened and will consist of approximately 25 people. (WG membership will cover the ICI, residential construction, heavy industrial and civil engineering sectors and will reflect both labour and employer perspectives.)
- First Working Group meeting is planned for the end of April or early May 2014.
- Prevention Office is working on preparing information materials to industry and hope to have the standard in draft by Fall 2014.
