New Registrar & CEO Announcement

This is an official announcement from former COCA Chair and newly appointed Ontario College of Trades’ Chair Don Gosen on the appointment of George Gritziotis as the College’s new Registrar & CEO.

On behalf of the Ontario College of Trades’ (College) newly appointed chair Don Gosen, we are delighted to welcome George Gritziotis as the College’s new Registrar & CEO. His new role will commence October 16, 2017.

George succeeds David Tsubouchi who has served as the College’s Registrar & CEO since August 2013 before announcing his retirement this past June.

The announcement of George’s appointment, including his wealth of experience working with Ontario’s skilled trades community, can be found on the College’s website here, along with the announcement of the College’s new chair, Don Gosen.

As the self-managed professional regulatory body representing the skilled trades in Ontario, the role of the College is to protect the public interest through world-class training, self-regulation, and to promote a professional skilled trades workforce that contributes to the prosperity of Ontario.

Both George and Don will work to lead the College through its next stage of growth and success.
