The Hon. Madeleine Meilleur has resigned her position as AG, prior to the Liberal cabinet shuffle. This may impact the release of the CLA Review depending on how many people get reassigned positions due to the cabinet shuffle and the fact that there will be a new minister. PPO is preparing to contact the new minister and the Deputy Minister Patrick Monahan once the new AG has been announced. PPO will be requesting a meeting with the minister and deputy minister. Pending the response to our request to meet and having commitment to a release date for the CLA Report, PPO will outline a strategy to take us through the summer and into the fall session.
