CISC Ontario Region
A committee of CISC members in consultation with suppliers and members of the Engineering community have been developing a document which outlines procedures and responsibilities for the safe erection of structural steel and steel deck.
Once finalized it will be placed within the CISC code of standard practice, and used in conjunction with the Canadian Building Code document S16.
While this document provides a baseline framework for any project, it is structured so that a “project specific” plan can be easily developed to accommodate builder’s and client’s needs.
