BULLETIN: Review of Ontario’s 2020 ICI Permit Values
Statistics Canada released the remainder of 2020’s building permit values this morning, which show that despite the economic disruptions caused by the pandemic, ICI permit values have only seen a modest decline in Ontario this calendar year.
Highlights of the OCS’ Review of Ontario’s 2020 ICI Permit Values include:
Commercial permit values reached an all-time annual high in 2020 despite pandemic disruptions (this increase was driven by a select few large projects; and
12 of Ontario’s 16 metro areas saw ICI permit values declined compared to last year.
