To all CISC-ICCA Members & Associates,
The CISC-ICCA is pleased to have partnered with Ryerson University in their effort to gather information to better understand the impact of Pre-project investment and quality of documents on project delivery efficiencies.
The study is also co-funded by Mitacs, a national research funding agency that supports applied research and industry-academia collaboration.
As a part of the study, this important nation-wide online survey is aimed at collecting data and opinions from construction professionals on questions related to the quality of design documents. Professionals representing project clients, architects, and engineers, as well as general contractors and subcontractors have been invited to participate in this survey.
The majority of the questions in this survey will be based on the most recently completed project in which you participated in prior to the COVID-19 lockdown. Please be prepared to answer questions such as the year of project completion, approximate construction cost, construction or design duration, cost and schedule performances, and change orders.
Your participation is critical to the success of this project. The survey results will be confidential, and no identifiers of any participant will be published.
