AISC Anti-dumping Case against Canada, Mexico and China for Fabricated Structural Steel
A note to all CISC Members and Associates-
It is my pleasure to advise that the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has today ruled that the U.S. domestic industry suffered no injury from imported fabricated structural steel (FSS) originating from Canada, Mexico and China. The written ITC decision will be released on March 9th, 2020.
As a result, cash anti-dumping duties will cease to be collected at the boarder in the coming days. Cash deposits that have been submitted will be reimbursed.
The CISC will provide more details as they become available.
Regards,
Ed Whalen, P.Eng.
